For the last three centuries, the Shrine of the Infant Jesus of Prague has survived 100's of years of wear and tear without any major restoration and refurbishment both to its interior and exterior.

While the Church has been relatively well maintained amidst financial and logistical difficulties, major repairs are badly needed especially for the main and minor altars of the Shrine.

The main altar, which houses a 15th century painting of the Lady of the Victorious, is only being held in place by steel scafoldings and there are glaring signs of wood decay throughout the altar's facade and back.
